Zalio
Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains how Zalio ("we", "us" and "our") collects, uses, shares, and protects personal information when you use our websites, applications, and related services (together, the "Service").
1. Information we collect
- Account and profile information: name, email address, login credentials, role, organisation, and workspace details.
- Customer content: information authorised users add to the Service, such as operational records, messages, tasks, documents, contact details, and connected-service data.
- Usage and technical information: device and browser details, IP address, logs, feature interactions, and diagnostic data.
- Support and communications: information you send us when requesting support, applying for access, or otherwise contacting us.
- Integration information: data and permissions required for a third-party connection that your organisation chooses to enable.
2. How we use information
We use personal information to provide, maintain, secure, and improve the Service; authenticate users and administer organisations and workspaces; respond to support requests; communicate about the Service; prevent fraud, misuse, and security incidents; comply with legal obligations; and produce aggregated or de-identified insights where permitted.
3. Organisation data
When an organisation uses Zalio to manage information about its staff, customers, members, leads, or other contacts, that organisation usually decides why and how the information is used. In those cases, the organisation is responsible for providing notices and obtaining required permissions, and Zalio processes the information on its documented instructions to provide the Service.
4. When we share information
We may share personal information with service providers that help us host, secure, support, analyse, or operate the Service; integrations that your organisation chooses to connect; authorised users in your organisation or workspace; professional advisers, regulators, law enforcement, or other parties where required or permitted by law; and a successor organisation in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets. We do not sell personal information.
5. International processing
The Service and its providers may process information outside Australia or the country where you live. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for those transfers.
6. Security and retention
We use reasonable technical and organisational measures designed to protect information. Sensitive credentials and connected-service secrets are encrypted at rest, and communications with the Service are protected using TLS encryption in transit. No online service can guarantee absolute security. We retain personal information for as long as needed to provide the Service, meet legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. Organisation administrators may also control retention and deletion of their organisation's content.
7. Your rights and choices
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information by emailing support@zalio.ai. Depending on where you live, you may also have rights to request restriction of or objection to certain processing, or portability of your information. For organisation data, contact your organisation administrator first. We may need to verify your identity before responding.
8. Children
Zalio is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children through the Service. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us, please contact us.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. We will post the updated version here and change the "Last updated" date. If a change materially affects your rights, we will provide additional notice where required.
10. Contact
For privacy questions or requests, contact Zalio at support@zalio.ai. We handle personal information in accordance with the Australian Privacy Principles under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).
